Families Shoulder to Shoulder is a group of volunteers who show their support for families that are going through Criminal Court Trials, Clemency Hearings, Parole Hearings, or Resentencing Hearings by gathering support letters for the incarcerated population and their families... Families Shoulder to Shoulder will also show up in the Courtroom to support families during the sometimes difficult legal court proceedings... Families Shoulder to Shoulder is a group of volunteers who have been impacted by the criminal justice system or have worked in Restorative Justice.   .

Writing support letters are so important for incarcerated individuals who are being reviewed at a resentencing hearing or a clemency hearing. These support letters can be done through Families Shoulder to Shoulder. We will reach out to organizations and community members for you.
